This nacho cheese sauce is cheesy, just a bit spicy, and incredibly easy to make, using only plant based ingredients! It’s perfect to top off a plate of nachos, but it’s also super versatile. You might try drizzling it over a baked potato or using it as a dipping sauce for giant pretzels.

Nacho Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cashews
  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ cup Carrot chopped
  • ½ cup Yellow onion chopped
  • 6 Tbs Nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • ¼ tsp Smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tbs White vinegar
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend on high until completely smooth.
